Musa Khel, February 2, 2026: The polio vaccination campaign in Musa Khel kicked off successfully under the supervision of Deputy Commissioner Abdul Razaq Khajak. The first-day review meeting highlighted the strong performance of polio teams, who actively visited households to administer polio drops and ensure child immunization across the district.
Officials from the district health department and WHO representatives confirmed that teams achieved high coverage targets. DC Khajak stressed the importance of 100% polio vaccination coverage and directed teams to engage with households refusing drops to raise awareness about polio prevention and child health safety.
The campaign aims to eliminate polio from Musa Khel through coordinated efforts of health authorities, local monitors, and community engagement. The Deputy Commissioner emphasized that every citizen’s cooperation is vital to the success of the polio eradication drive
