Situation Under Control as Terrorists Target Quetta Red Zone: CM Balochistan

Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti has stated that the security situation in the province remains under control despite recent terrorist incidents, disclosing that militants attempted to enter Quetta’s Red Zone and the Chief Minister’s House. He said security forces responded promptly, forcing the attackers to flee, while combing operations are ongoing in Quetta and Noshki. Bugti revealed that 171 terrorists have been neutralized so far, with nearly 1,000 killed over the past year. He stressed that 99 percent of the local population stands with the state and security forces. The chief minister reiterated that India is involved in sponsoring terrorism, stating that RAW provides funding and training with operational links traced to Afghanistan. He said Balochistan is moving toward stability through governance reforms, anti-corruption measures, and development initiatives, including the reopening of over 3,200 schools. Bugti assured that terrorism will be eradicated and peace fully restored across the province.
