Islamabad, February 12, 2026: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif called on President Asif Ali Zardari at Aiwan-e-Sadr to review the country’s political, economic and security situation.
The high-level meeting included senior cabinet members and advisers, who discussed domestic stability, economic reforms and the prevailing regional and global environment. Both leaders exchanged views on strengthening governance, maintaining economic momentum and addressing security challenges.
According to official sources, the meeting emphasized coordinated efforts between constitutional offices to ensure policy continuity and national stability. Matters relating to regional developments and Pakistan’s diplomatic engagement were also reviewed.
The consultation reflects ongoing institutional dialogue aimed at reinforcing democratic processes, economic resilience and national security priorities amid evolving global dynamics.
