Kohlu, February 18, 2026 – Under the leadership of DC Kohlu Azim Jan Dummar, the district administration organized Khuli Kachehri at the Deputy Commissioner’s office, where tribal elders, community leaders, and a large number of citizens presented their concerns and suggestions.
During the session, the Deputy Commissioner inquired in detail about issues related to administrative services, education, health, clean drinking water, road conditions, electricity, and other essential facilities. Participants highlighted problems such as teacher shortages in schools, unavailability of medicines at health centers, absenteeism among staff, and other administrative challenges, while offering recommendations for improvement.
Addressing the attendees, Azim Jan Dummar stated that the purpose of the Khuli Kachehri is to listen directly to the public, identify issues, and implement timely solutions. He assured that the district administration remains proactive in enhancing the education and health sectors, with several initiatives already underway and additional reforms in progress. He instructed department officials to ensure prompt action on complaints and to implement suggestions seriously.
The DC urged community elders and citizens to actively monitor facilities in educational institutions and health centers, particularly staff attendance, and to immediately report any shortcomings to the administration. At the conclusion of the Khuli Kachehri, participants appreciated the administration’s efforts to engage directly with the public.
The session was attended by Assistant Commissioner Kohlu Captain (R) Kabir Mazari, DHO Dr. Sher Zaman Mari, MS Dr. Asghar Marri, District Education Officer Jafar Khan Zarkoon, District Officer Education Hafizullah Marri, DSM PPHI Mujeeb Kakaar, District Forest Officer Jan Muhammad Kakar, SDPO Ghaus Bakhsh, Superintendent DC Office Haji Saifullah Khan Marri, and heads of various other government departments.
