Gilgit-Baltistan, February 21, 2026: Caretaker Chief Minister of Gilgit-Baltistan, Justice (R) Yad Muhammad, expressed deep sorrow over the martyrdom of Lieutenant Colonel Shehzad Gul Faraz and Sepoy Karamat Shah in the Fatah-ul-Khawarij attack in Bannu. He prayed for the highest ranks in Jannah for the fallen heroes and praised the Pakistan Army’s sacrifices in the fight against terrorism.
The caretaker CM emphasized that the nation stands united with its armed forces to thwart any conspiracy aimed at destabilizing Pakistan. Citizens are urged to continue supporting national security initiatives and honor the sacrifices of martyrs.
