Karachi, February 21, 2026: Usman Ahmed, Secretary School Education Gilgit-Baltistan, along with the Managing Director of NTDC, inspected the delivery process of solar panels for Gilgit-Baltistan under a special Prime Minister’s initiative. The inspection included Water & Power Department and NTDC teams working in Karachi to ensure timely delivery during Ramadan.
Operational arrangements at the port were reviewed, and the teams’ commitment to effective delivery was appreciated. Usman Ahmed instructed acceleration of operations to complete delivery before the end of Ramadan.
A meeting with Chief Collector Customs Wajid Ali addressed potential container clearance delays. Full cooperation was assured to ensure uninterrupted delivery of solar panels to Gilgit-Baltistan.
