QUETTA, March 17: The Directorate General of Immigration and Passports has decided to restore a five-day working week, reopening offices from Monday to Friday. The earlier four-day schedule was introduced under austerity measures amid concerns of an energy crisis. Officials said the revised policy aims to improve service delivery and facilitate citizens seeking passports. The decision is expected to reduce delays and ease public inconvenience, particularly for those requiring urgent travel documentation.
