LUANDA, March 30: Mozambique’s Minister of Mineral Resources and Energy, Estevão Pale, will attend the Angola Oil & Gas (AOG) Conference and Exhibition 2026, leading a delegation as the country accelerates major liquefied natural gas (LNG) projects.
The September 9–10 event comes as Mozambique advances large-scale LNG developments, including the $20 billion Mozambique LNG project and Rovuma LNG, expected to significantly boost export capacity by the early 2030s. Additional projects, such as Coral Norte FLNG, are also progressing, reinforcing the country’s position in global gas markets.
Angola, meanwhile, is expanding its gas monetization strategy, with Angola LNG continuing production growth and new developments enhancing supply. Both nations aim to strengthen cooperation as global LNG demand rises sharply.
The conference is expected to serve as a platform for investment dialogue, policy exchange, and regional collaboration, positioning Angola and Mozambique as emerging key players in the global LNG sector.
