QUETTA, July 17: Prolonged electricity outages affected several parts of Quetta on Friday, disrupting daily life and prompting residents to demand immediate restoration of power.
According to local reports, electricity supplied through the Eastern Bypass feeder has remained suspended since around 2:00 pm, while the Jan Muhammad feeder has reportedly been without power since approximately 1:00 pm. Areas affected include Satellite Town, Pashtoonabad, Gol Masjid, Farooqia Town, Jan Muhammad Road and several surrounding localities.
Residents expressed concern over what they described as frequent and prolonged power interruptions, saying the outages have become a routine issue and have caused significant hardship during the day. They urged the relevant authorities and the power utility to take immediate notice of the situation and restore electricity without further delay.
