QUETTA:
The National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) has issued a notice summoning Pakhtunkhwa Milli Awami Party (PkMAP) leader Kabir Afghan in connection with an inquiry concerning alleged anti-state propaganda.
According to an official notice issued by the Cyber Crime Reporting Centre Quetta, Inquiry No. 541/2026 is being conducted to examine allegations relating to anti-state propaganda. The notice directs Kabir Afghan, a resident of Pashtoonabad, Quetta, to appear in person before the Cyber Crime Reporting Centre on July 17, 2026, at 11:30am to record his statement.
The notice states that the proceedings will take place at the NCCIA Cyber Crime Reporting Centre situated on Mecongi Road, Balochi Street, in the Old Civil Defence Office, Quetta.
It further states that failure to appear at the specified date and time may be treated as a decision not to present a defence in the inquiry. The notice also warns that non-compliance could result in legal proceedings under Section 174 of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC).
