ISLAMABAD, July 18: The Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training (MoFEPT) has signed two Letters of Understanding (LoUs) with Nestlé Pakistan, in collaboration with the Federal Directorate of Education (FDE) and the Directorate General of Special Education (DGSE), to promote nutrition education and healthier lifestyles among schoolchildren.

Under the Nestlé for Healthier Kids initiative, up to 300 teachers will receive specialized training, benefiting approximately 10,000 students in federal educational institutions. The programme will also train up to 200 faculty members, therapists and professionals to support nearly 2,000 children with special needs, while developing inclusive learning materials and establishing dedicated resource rooms.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, Secretary for Federal Education Nadeem Mahbub emphasized the importance of public-private partnerships in improving children’s health, well-being and learning outcomes. Nestlé Pakistan reaffirmed its commitment to empowering educators and promoting healthier lifestyle choices among children through sustainable education initiatives.
