Captain (retired) Sohrab Khan (PIA) has been elected Chief Executive Officer of the Peshawar Flying Club

Peshawar: Feb 13. Captain (retired) Sohrab Khan (PIA) has been elected Chief Executive Officer of the Peshawar Flying Club. He was elected for a three-year term by majority vote. After winning the election, he expressed his determination to take serious steps to strengthen the Peshawar Flying Club, which he called the most popular club in Asia. He noted that the club has unfortunately faced financial losses for the past ten years, due to which it has discontinued its nursery and commercial pilot training programs.

Sohrab Khan served Pakistan International Airlines for 43 years. On his first day in office, he met with Chief Secretary of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Nadeem Aslam Chaudhary, to discuss activating the club. The Peshawar Flying Club has a modern, twelve-seater Beechcraft King Air 200 turbo-prop aircraft. On this occasion, the Chief Secretary expressed his support for the restoration of the aircraft, especially the Beechcraft, so that it can begin providing services to the provincial government.
