A prestigious ceremony was held at the Central Police Office of the National Highways and Motorway Police (NHMP) in Islamabad to honor officers who demonstrated honesty, professionalism, and selfless service by returning Rs. 10 million along with precious smart phones recovered from a vehicle involved in an accident on the Motorway (M-3) to its rightful owners.

A prestigious ceremony was held at the Central Police Office of the National Highways and Motorway Police (NHMP) in Islamabad to honor officers who demonstrated honesty, professionalism, and selfless service by returning Rs. 10 million along with precious smart phones recovered from a vehicle involved in an accident on the Motorway (M-3) to its rightful owners. Additional IG, Central Region Ali Ahmed Sabir Kayani, DIG Salman Ali Khan, DIG Shahid Javed, DIG Syed Fareed Ali, Sector Commander Shabaz Alam and Senior officers of the Motorway Police also attended the ceremony.
As per details, a car travelling from Lahore to Multan met with an accident due to a tire burst. The Motorway Police officers promptly transferred the injured individuals to the nearest hospital. During a search of the vehicle, they recovered 10 million in cash and mobile phones.
Inspector General (IG) Salman Chaudhry invited the officers to his office and awarded Sub Inspector Syed Arif Rashid and Lady Sub Inspector Ayesha Jamil with cash prizes and certificates of appreciation for their honesty and selfless service. While addressing the participants, IG Salman Chaudhry stated that this example of honesty and public service is a remarkable model for the betterment of society. He praised the officers’ integrity, performance, and dedication, urging all officers to continue serving with the same spirit and commitment.
