QUETTA: The Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti performed the earth-braking of the Mand-Turbat road project to be completed costing Rs. 19.5 billion, in Turbat on Friday.
Also present on the occasion were the Provincial Minister for Planning and Development, Mir Zahoor Buledi, Member of Provincial Assembly, Dr. Abdul Malik Baloch, Chief Secretary, Shakeel Qadir Khan and other concerned high ups.
The Chief Minister was briefed about the Mand-Turbat road project.
During the briefing, it was informed that the project would be completed costing Rs. 19.5 billion in span of three years.
Speaking on the occasion, Chief Minister said that initially Rs. 5 billion have been released for the project.
He said that the development projects are being started for the welfare of public crossing all the hurdles.
He said that the project would be completed with quality services of the FWO.
He said that no compromise would be made on quality of the construction work.
The Chief Minister directed to the concerned high ups to complete the road project within two years instead of three years.
He said that we are providing opportunities of development to the people especially youth of the province.
He also said that we are offering scholarships to youth of the province for doing their Ph.Ds in renowned universities of the world.
He said that the provincial government would bear educational expenditures of the students demonstrating remarkable performance in education field.
