Sindh Government Decides to Hold Various Sporting Events, Including Donkey Cart Race, Sindh Beach Games, Special Games, E-Sports, and Sindh Pink Games

Karachi – The Sindh government has decided to organize several sporting events, including Donkey Cart Races, Sindh Beach Games, Special Games, E-Sports, and Sindh Pink Games. This announcement was made by the Provincial Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs, Sardar Mohammad Bux Meher, in a statement. Sardar Meher revealed that the Donkey Cart Race will be held in Karachi starting from December 25, 2024. The Sindh Beach Games will take place on the beach from January 17 to 19, 2025. Additionally, the Sindh Pink Games are scheduled for February 2025. Meanwhile, the Quaid-e-Azam Games will be held on December 25, 2024, in both Karachi and Hyderabad. These events will feature sports such as cricket, football, hockey, badminton, softball, athletics, karate, and wrestling.

Sardar Meher also announced the launch of winter coaching classes across 30 districts of Sindh from December 23 to 30, 2024. The objective of these classes is to enhance the youth’s interest in sports, improve their skills, and provide them with training that meets international standards. Regarding E-Sports, Sardar Meher stated that its popularity in the world of sports is rapidly increasing. “The younger generation is becoming more inclined toward E-Sports, and there is a potential for it to become a major industry in the coming years. The Sindh government is working on various projects to further develop this sector,” he said.

He further added that the Sindh government is committed to providing modern sports facilities, training, and opportunities to the youth in order to foster growth in the sports sector. These initiatives reflect the Sindh government’s determination to promote sports and contribute to the well-being of the youth.
