BNP announces to support JUI candidate in bye-election of PB-45

QUETTA: The Balochistan National Party (BNP) has announced to support the candidate of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI) in the bye-election of PB-45.

This was announced by the senior Vice President of BNP, Sajid Tareen Advocate while addressing the joint press conference along with the Provincial Ameer of JUI Senator Maulana Abdul Wasey here on Monday.
He said that the bye-elections are being conducted in PB-45 on January 5, 2025.
He said that BNP has decided to support the JUI candidate in the bye-election of PB-45.
He announced withdrawal of the BNP candidate Ghulam Rasool Mengal in favour of the JUI candidate, Usman Pirkani.
He said that there has been association between BNP and JUI for decades. He said that the late Sardar Attaullah Mengal had it’s own association with late Mufti Mehmood.
Sajid Tareen said that the resources of Balochistan are being plundered mercilessly and as such under the prevailing circumstances, the alliance of democratic forces is need of the hour.
He said that we have been insisting that the real issue of Balochistan is the issue of missing persons. He said that the issues would not be resolved until and unless the interference is not stopped in the political affairs.
Speaking on the occasion, Maulana Abdul Wasey thanked the BNP for its support to the JUI candidate in the bye-election.
He insisted that the only solution to the issue of Balochistan lies in the free and fair elections.
He said that the issues of Balochistan can’t be resolved because of the people elected through Form-47.
