The Chief Secretary, Balochistan Shakeel Qadir Khan has stated that the provincial government is working for welfare of the people remaining in its available resources and it is it’s endeavour to ensure provision of the basic facilities to them at their doorstep.

QUETTA: The Chief Secretary, Balochistan Shakeel Qadir Khan has stated that the provincial government is working for welfare of the people remaining in its available resources and it is it’s endeavour to ensure provision of the basic facilities to them at their doorstep.

He said that work is continued on many projects for improving the quality of life of the general public.
He directed to expedite the process of recruitments of teachers on contract in Education Department and issue orders of posting to the selected candidates.
In addition to this, he also directed to ensure provision of the healthcare facilities to the people in government hospitals.
He also directed to all Deputy Commissioners to keep strict vigil on the prices of edibles in their respective districts.
The Chief Secretary was chairing the divisional commissioners and deputy commissioners conference here on Monday.
The meeting was attended by Additional Chief Secretary Home, Shahab Ali Shah, Secretary Education, Schools Saleh Muhammad Nasar, Director General Levies. While the Divisional and Deputy Commissioner participated in the meeting through video link.
The meeting discussed the matters related to construction of residences of Assistant Commissioners , recruitments of teachers in schools and doctors in Hospitals on contract as well as the provision of medicines in public sector hospitals and open katchehris besides other related issues.
Addressing the meeting, Chief Secretary stressed that implementation on the official price lists should be ensured so that no trader and shopkeeper could violate the same.
He also said that it is unfair to paralyze the system of whole city in the name of protest.
He said that the concerned officers have been issued directives not to let anyone block the highways and roads.
He directed to the concerned to ensure writ of government and clear all the roads.
He also directed to the Deputy Commissioners to hold open katchehris in their respective districts and resolve the public grievances at the earliest.
