QUETTA: The Spokesman, Government of Balochistan, Shahid Rind has stated that the Section 144 has been enforced owing to the threat of law and order for one month in the province.
He said that different national highways were closed in the province since Sunday last. He said that the Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti had taken notice of the blockade of roads and highways in the province. He said that Chief Minister had declared on the day first that peaceful protest is right of everyone. Therefore, the provincial government has allowed the rightful protest, but no one would be allowed to block roads and national highways in the province.
The spokesman of provincial government was addressing a hurriedly called press conference on Monday.
Addressing the press conference, spokesman of provincial government maintained that Chief Minister has taken notice of the blockade of national highways in the province.
Referring the protest of protest of Grand Health Alliance, the spokesman said that the orders of High Court would be implemented regarding the protest of GHA.
He said that protests are continued at three different places in the province.
He said that the missing persons were recovered in the past.
He on the occasion made it clear that privatization of the hospitals is not being done.
He said that the government endorsed the fair protest, but it is unfair to lodge protest which bothers the people at large.
