Quetta District Education Officer Introduces Reform to Boost Students’ Morale

Quetta. Jan. 17: In a bid to promote a positive educational environment, the District Education Officer Quetta has introduced a significant change in the result cards of government and private schools in Quetta district for the academic year 2025 and beyond. The terms “Pass” and “Fail” will be replaced with “Promoted” and “Retained” respectively.

This initiative aims to enhance students’ self-esteem, reduce depression, decrease dropout rates, and provide emotional support while promoting a positive educational environment. This change will encourage students and reduce the fear of failure among them. This step is part of a broader effort to improve educational outcomes and ensure equal opportunities for success for all students.
