Timely provision of textbooks in schools ensured, says Minister Education

QUETTA: The Provincial Minister for Education, Ms. Raheela Hameed Khan Durrani has stated that timely provision of text books have been ensured in the schools while implementing the orders of Chief Minister, Mir Sarfraz Buhti for educational development in the province.
He said that the initiative is an outcome of untiring efforts and dedication of the Chairman and all officers of Balochistan Text Book Board that the text books are being provided in beginning of the new academic year.
This initiative of provision of text books would prove to be helpful for running the schools system and acquiring education by the students.
The Provincial Minister for Education was chairing the inaugural meeting of distribution of free academic books for the year 2025 under the arrangements of Text Book Board here on Wednesday.
The Secretary Education, Saleh Muhammad Nasar, Chairman Text Book Board, Gulab Khan Khilji, Secretary Board, Dr. Niaz Tareen, Director Monitoring and Development, Munir Ahmed Baloch and Director Text Book Board Distribution, Muhammad Hanif were in attendance at the meeting.
Addressing the meeting, the Minister for Education said that Balochistan Text Book Board has always been in forefront in preparation of curriculum and other research and development activities. She said that timely supply of the books has been ensured in the schools. She said that we are desirous of teaching curriculum based on modern research to the students of Balochistan. She said that at the time when world is decorating children with education through artificial intelligence, but unfortunately we face hardships in pursuing new trends here. She stressed that we have to enable children of Balochistan to compete with students of other major cities, federal capital and other provinces.
