727 schools made functional in Balochistan, CS told
QUETTA: As many as 727 out of total 3,702 schools have been made functional all over the province.
Similarly, 372 teachers have been dismissed from service while 267 have been suspended on charges of absence from their duties in the province. Moreover, 1,124 teachers have been served show cause notices while 161 teachers were issued warning letters.
These information and data was shared during the briefing by Divisional Commissioners and Deputy Commissioners to the Chief Secretary Shakeel Qadir Khan here on Thursday.
Basically, it was the Divisional Commissioners and Deputy Commissioners Conference chaired by the Chief Secretary on different important matters.
It was informed that the Divisional Commissioners and Deputy Commissioners paid 27,490 visits to different schools, hospitals and other places in their respective divisions and districts.
They checked the attendance of teachers and doctors in the schools and hospitals respectively.
They also visited bazaars to check the price lists ensuring sale of edibles and other goods at official rates.
It was also informed that 2,975 schools would be made functional after completion of recruitment process on contract basis.
