CS directs administration & departments to expedite efforts for improving standard of life of people
QUETTA: The Chief Secretary Shakeel Qadir Khan has stated that the provincial government is working for welfare of general public remaining in the available resources.
He directed to the administration and all departments to expedite efforts for improving standard of life of the people and create easiness for them so that they may lead a better and satisfied life.
The Chief Secretary was addressing the Divisional Commissioners and Deputy Commissioner’s’ Conference here on Thursday.
The meeting reviewed the matters about construction of residences of Assistant Commissioners in different sub-divisions, teachers in the schools, recruitments of doctors in hospitals on the temporary basis, provision of medicines in hospitals and holding of open katchehris.
The meeting was attended by the Secretary C&W, Lal Jan Jaffar, Secretary Education, Schools, Saleh Muhammad Nasar, Special Secretary Home, Nasir Dotani.
The Commissioners and Deputy Commissioners participated in the conference through video link.
Addressing the conference, Chief Secretary directed to the concerned authorities to ensure provision of healthcare facilities to the people in hospitals.
He stressed that provision of medicines should be ensured in the hospitals so that the patients may not face any issue.
He also directed to all Deputy Commissioners to keep strict vigil on rates of the edibles in their respective districts.
He also directed to the officers not to let close highways in their areas under the garb of protest as it causes hardships to the passengers and general public.
In addition to this, he directed to ensure holding of open katchehris in their respective districts and listen to the issues of people.
Earlier, it was informed that Divisional Commissioners and Deputy Commissioners paid at least 27,490 visits to the hospitals, schools, bazaars and other places in their respective areas.
