Peshawar: Feb 25. Advisor to the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for Information and Public Relations, Barrister Dr. Saif, has extended heartfelt congratulations to Rana Azeem on his election as the President of the Pakistan Federal Union of Journalists (PFUJ).

In his message, Barrister Dr. Saif also congratulated all newly elected cabinet members, stating that Rana Azeem’s victory reflects the trust and confidence of the journalist community. He emphasized that the newly elected cabinet will serve as a strong voice against oppressive laws such as the PECA amendments.

He assured that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government stands with the newly elected PFUJ leadership in their struggle for press freedom and against the PECA amendments. He expressed hope that under Rana Azeem’s leadership, the entire cabinet will play an effective role in protecting journalists’ rights.

Barrister Dr. Saif further stated that Rana Azeem’s leadership will prove vital in serving the journalist community and that he will remain actively engaged.
