The affected individual, Jhamaan Das, has protested against the negligence of the WAPDA (Water and Power Development Authority) staff. He stated that he had previously lodged a complaint regarding the damaged power lines, but due to the authorities’ inaction, the fatal incident took place.
Jhamaan Das demanded immediate action against the WAPDA staff responsible for the incident and compensation for his losses. The value of the deceased buffaloes is estimated to be between 10 to 12 lakh rupees.
