Quetta (May 6): Dr. Rubaba Khan Buledi, Advisor to the Chief Minister of Balochistan for the Department of Women Development has stated that joint efforts are needed to address the issues faced by women in Balochistan. In this regard, the provincial government is actively working through its policies and initiatives to further strengthen women’s rights. Dr. Rubaba Buledi expressed these views during separate meetings with Secretary of WDD Saira Ata and Manager of the Women Crisis Center Quetta, Rubina Zehri.
Dr. Rubaba Khan Buledi emphasized that providing women with opportunities in health, education, and the economy is a top priority for the government, enabling them to better fulfill their social roles. She further stated that the Women Crisis Center plays a crucial role in raising awareness about women’s rights and resolving their issues. Efforts are underway to enhance the center to bring positive change in women’s lives. The provincial government is striving to improve various governmental projects and policies for the welfare of women, ensuring that women in Balochistan have equal rights.
