Lahore, September 25, 2025 — The Punjab Elite Force held a grand passing out parade in Lahore, where a newly trained unit of officers vowed to take decisive action against hoarders, profiteers, and black marketers across the province.
The parade, attended by senior Punjab Police officials, showcased the discipline, strength, and readiness of the newly graduated squad. The officers pledged to serve the community with honesty, courage, and professionalism, ensuring strict enforcement of law and order.
According to police officials, the unit has been specially trained and equipped to deal with illegal hoarding of essential goods, profiteering in markets, encroachment of public property, and consumer exploitation. They will also support the administration in cracking down on those creating artificial shortages and price hikes.
Speaking at the event, senior officials of Punjab Police said that hoarding and profiteering are serious economic crimes that directly affect ordinary citizens. “The newly inducted Elite Force officers will not only protect people’s lives and property but also ensure that essential commodities remain available at fair prices,” one official remarked.
The passing out parade highlighted advanced tactical demonstrations, reflecting the squad’s training in modern policing, counter-crime strategies, and community protection measures. Officials stressed that the force’s mission is to restore public trust and provide swift justice by confronting both street crime and economic exploitation.
The ceremony concluded with the fresh batch of officers taking an oath to uphold law, discipline, and the rights of citizens, reinforcing Punjab Police’s commitment to eliminate profiteering networks and safeguard economic stability in the province.
