Eleven Soldiers, Including Two Officers, Embrace Martyrdom as Security Forces Eliminate 19 Indian-Sponsored Terrorists in Orakzai

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Pakistan’s Security Forces conducted an intelligence-based operation in Orakzai District on the night of 7/8 October 2025, targeting the reported presence of terrorists affiliated with the Indian proxy network, Fitna al Khwarij.

During the fierce exchange of fire, nineteen Indian-sponsored terrorists were neutralized by the effective engagement of Pakistan’s troops.
However, leading from the front, Lieutenant Colonel Junaid Tariq (39, resident of District Rawalpindi) and Major Tayyab Rahat (33, resident of District Rawalpindi) embraced shahadat, along with nine brave soldiers who fought gallantly until the end.

The martyrs include:
Naib Subedar Azam Gul (38, Khyber), Naik Adil Hussain (35, Kurram), Naik Gul Ameer (34, Tank), Lance Naik Sher Khan (31, Mardan), Lance Naik Talish Faraz (32, Mansehra), Lance Naik Irshad Hussain (32, Kurram), Sepoy Tufail Khan (28, Malakand), Sepoy Aqib Ali (23, Swabi), and Sepoy Muhammad Zahid (24, Tank).

A sanitization operation is underway to ensure the complete elimination of remaining terrorists in the area. The Pakistan Armed Forces reaffirm their resolve to eradicate the menace of Indian-sponsored terrorism from the country. The supreme sacrifices of the martyrs further strengthen the nation’s determination and commitment to lasting peace and stability.
