Balochistan Constabulary Strengthens Security Measures, Emphasizes Public Trust and Professionalism

In light of the prevailing security situation, Balochistan Constabulary headquarters in Quetta convened a high-level meeting today to review and enhance security arrangements across the province. The meeting was presided over by Acting Commandant Balochistan Constabulary, DIGP Shad Ibn Masih PSP. Senior officials, including SSP Headquarters, Commanders X-IV, III-II-I, Assistant Director Dr. Asadullah, and other officers and personnel of the Constabulary, attended the session.

During the meeting, DIGP Shad Ibn Masih directed all zonal commanders to strengthen security measures within their respective zones and submit detailed reports reflecting the current situation. He emphasized that personnel should exercise restraint and avoid unnecessary use of force during patrols, while maintaining professionalism and courteous interaction with the public.

“The trust of the community is integral to policing,” the Acting Commandant said, urging officers to make every effort to foster positive relations and a sense of security among citizens. He further instructed that the instructions of the Inspector General of Police Balochistan and all standard operating procedures be strictly followed.

Officers were also advised to prioritize the welfare of their subordinates to ensure effective performance of duties. Zonal commanders were directed to schedule patrols in a manner that prevents any officer from serving more than eight consecutive hours on duty.

The Acting Commandant concluded by highlighting that discipline, public service, and professional excellence define the identity of the Constabulary. He called on all officers and personnel to perform their responsibilities with integrity and dedication to uphold the trust and safety of the people.
