CHAGAI: The Federal Investigation Agency’s (FIA) Anti-Human Trafficking Wing intercepted a group of human smugglers near the Pakistan-Iran border, rescuing 32 Afghan nationals, including women and children.

Officials said the victims were being illegally transported toward Iran in pickup trucks through unfrequented routes. Several traffickers managed to flee, while two were arrested.

The FIA has intensified operations in border districts to curb cross-border trafficking and illegal migration.
