QUETTA: The provincial Home Department has launched a rehabilitation and literacy program for juvenile prisoners at Quetta District Jail in collaboration with the Education Department and social welfare partners.

Officials said the initiative aims to reintegrate underage inmates into society by providing formal education, skill development, and psychological counseling.

The program has been widely welcomed by rights groups and community organizations as a positive step toward prison reform and youth rehabilitation.
