Balochistan Traders’ Elections on November 18; Election Committee Announced

The Central Organization of Traders Balochistan has announced the schedule for its 2025–28 organizational elections, to be held on November 18 across the province.

President of the organization, Syed Abdul Qayyum Agha, made the announcement following consultations with trader representatives from all districts. Haji Amir Hamza Khilji has been appointed Chairman of the Election Committee, while Yasin Agha, Ismail Dawi, Haji Muhammad Yousaf, and Saifuddin Nisar will serve as members responsible for ensuring transparent elections.

According to spokesperson Kashif Haidari, traders from Quetta to Gwadar and all major markets across Balochistan will cast their votes to elect their new three-year leadership. An All-Balochistan Traders Convention will also be held the same day to discuss key business concerns, including border trade, taxation, market security, and coordination with the government.

The spokesperson said the event marks an important step toward strengthening organizational unity and protecting the economic rights of the trader community. He urged traders to participate responsibly and uphold democratic values in the election process.
