Pakistan Hosts First-Ever International Speakers’ Conference — Balochistan Assembly Speaker Welcomes Global Delegates
Speaker of the Balochistan Assembly, Abdul Khaliq Khan Achakzai, has said that the first-ever International Speakers’ Conference being held in Islamabad marks a historic milestone for Pakistan’s parliamentary system.
In his welcome message to the distinguished speakers and delegates arriving from various countries, the Speaker said the event would open new avenues for parliamentary cooperation, constructive dialogue, and institutional strengthening in the democratic sphere.
He expressed confidence that the conference would provide an excellent platform for the exchange of experiences, ideas, and recommendations, fostering good governance, transparency, and stronger democratic institutions.
“The Balochistan Assembly is proud to join hands with the National Assembly, Senate, and other provincial legislatures in this significant international effort to promote democratic engagement and cooperation,” he said.
The Speaker concluded by warmly welcoming all the foreign guests and expressing hope that the conference would serve as a cornerstone in strengthening parliamentary relations both nationally and globally.
