Federal Minister Lays Foundation Stone for Kacha Noor Shah Road in Sahiwal — Rs 490.4 Million Project to Be Completed by June 2026

Islamabad/Sahiwal, November 16, 2025: Federal Minister for Poverty Alleviation and Social Safety, Syed Imran Ahmed Shah, laid the foundation stone for the construction of the Kacha Noor Shah Road in Sahiwal on Sunday. The 2.88-kilometre dual-carriageway project has been allocated Rs 490.4 million and is expected to be completed by June 2026.
Addressing the inauguration ceremony, the Federal Minister said that the Pakistan Muslim League (N) government prioritizes public welfare and the provision of essential services. He noted that during the tenure of former Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, a vast network of motorways and roads was developed nationwide to ensure safe, convenient, and efficient travel for citizens.
He added that under the leadership of Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, the mission of public service continues with full commitment. The construction of the Kacha Noor Shah Road, he said, will significantly ease travel for local residents, reduce daily commuting difficulties, and contribute to an improved quality of life.
