Gujranwala – November 18, 2025:
The National Highways and Motorway Police (NHMP) Sector North–III Gujranwala held an impressive road-safety event at the Kamonki Toll Plaza, distributing free safety helmets to motorcyclists as part of its ongoing public-awareness campaign.

The initiative was strengthened through the support of PepsiCo International, which provided high-quality safety helmets under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program. NHMP officials highlighted that the partnership aims to promote responsible driving habits and reduce the severity of road accidents involving motorcyclists.

Sector Commander Syed Farrukh Raza, DSPs, PepsiCo representatives, and NHMP field officers participated in the event. Officers briefed riders on the life-saving importance of wearing helmets and explained how protective gear significantly reduces the risk of serious injuries—especially head trauma—during accidents.
Officials emphasized that the campaign’s primary goal is to raise road-safety awareness among motorcyclists and encourage the consistent use of safety helmets to prevent avoidable injuries.
