A robbery took place at the residence of a foreign national in Khairpur on Thursday, prompting a swift police response and raising concerns over local security conditions.
According to police, unidentified suspects broke into the home of Muhammad Iman in the Defence City area and escaped with valuables, including US dollars and an iPhone. The incident has intensified worries among residents regarding the safety of the locality.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Khairpur Hassan Sardar said that special police teams have been deployed to track down the culprits and that all available resources are being utilized to ensure an early arrest. He reaffirmed the police department’s resolve to uphold public safety and emphasized that no leniency will be shown in dealing with such criminal activity.
SSP Sardar added that while the overall security situation in Khairpur has shown improvement, isolated incidents like this highlight the need for continued vigilance and prompt enforcement.
