Karachi, December 7:
Senior leader of Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan (MQM-P), Dr. Farooq Sattar, firmly rejected attempts to spread an anti-Pakistan narrative during a press conference held at the Bahadurabad center. He emphasized that MQM-P will never allow any forces or political groups to undermine the country’s unity and sovereignty.
Addressing recent political developments, Dr. Sattar stated that certain parties continue to focus solely on anti-army rhetoric, ignoring the pressing issues of national development and governance. He criticized the language and statements used by the chief minister of a rival party, calling them “unacceptable and intolerable.”
Dr. Sattar also condemned narratives being circulated from behind bars, calling them the work of “mentally unstable” individuals attempting to mislead the public. He highlighted that personal ambitions and political egos can never override the imperatives of national security and Pakistan’s territorial integrity.
Reaffirming MQM-P’s commitment to Pakistan, Dr. Sattar warned that any attempt to destabilize the state or question the role of the armed forces would face strong opposition from the party. He urged political actors to prioritize national cohesion, democratic processes, and public welfare over divisive rhetoric.
MQM-P continues to present itself as a stabilizing political force, focused on protecting Pakistan’s unity while addressing the needs of its citizens.
