Independent Report
Rawalpindi, December 14, 2025:
Security forces have killed 13 militants in two separate intelligence-based operations conducted on December 12 and 13 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, according to ISPR.
In the first operation, carried out in Mohmand District on reported militant presence, troops effectively engaged the hideout. Following an intense exchange of fire, seven militants were neutralised.
In a second intelligence-based operation in Bannu District, security forces eliminated six more militants.
ISPR said sanitisation operations are ongoing in both areas to ensure the complete clearance of any remaining militants. The military reaffirmed that the counter-terrorism campaign is being pursued under the vision of “Azm-e-Istehkam,” approved by the Federal Apex Committee under the National Action Plan.
Security forces and law enforcement agencies remain committed to eliminating foreign-sponsored terrorism and restoring lasting peace across the country.
