Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti on Friday visited the residence of former Political Agent Dera Bugti and senior civil servant, retired Colonel Wakeel Afridi, to offer condolences to the bereaved family and participate in Fateha Khwani.
The chief minister paid tribute to the late officer’s administrative and public service, stating that Wakeel Afridi served the people with integrity, sincerity, and a strong sense of responsibility. He described such dutiful officers as valuable national assets whose services are remembered long after their passing.
Expressing heartfelt sympathy, CM Bugti prayed for the elevation of the deceased’s ranks in the hereafter and for patience and strength for the family in this difficult time. He reaffirmed that the services rendered by committed and principled civil servants play a vital role in strengthening state institutions and public trust.
