Sibi, December 21, 2025 – Deputy Commissioner Sibi, Major (R) Ilyas Kabezai, took notice of a firing incident between Levies personnel and armed robbers at Lumji on National Highway N-65, directing that the injured Levies officer receive prompt and best possible medical attention.
The wounded officer was immediately transferred to DHQ Teaching Hospital Sibi for first aid and later referred to Sukkur for further treatment. The Deputy Commissioner personally visited the hospital, checked on the officer, and reviewed the medical arrangements.
According to reports, Tehsildar Mir Zabar Domki, accompanied by Levies personnel, was returning from Bakhtiarabad to Sibi when robbers attempted to loot passengers at Lumji. On arrival, the Levies personnel engaged in a firefight with the robbers, resulting in the injury of one officer. Security has been heightened in the area, and Levies forces are maintaining strict vigilance over the situation.
