Quetta, December 21, 2025 – Under the special directives of Balochistan’s Transport Secretary, Muhammad Hayat Kakr, and PTA Secretary, Waheed Sharif Umarani, authorities conducted a strict inspection at Tor Nasser Cross. Passenger coaches, trailers, and other vehicles were checked for fitness certificates, permits, and compliance with safety regulations.
Many vehicles were found using forged fitness certificates and were issued warnings, with instructions to obtain genuine documentation. Officials emphasized adherence to the two-driver policy and the need to keep CCTV cameras operational in all passenger vehicles. Authorities warned that violations could lead to severe legal action, stressing that these measures aim to prevent accidents and ensure passenger safety.
