Panjgur: Senior National Party leader and District Council member Haji Muhammad Akbar Baloch, along with Union Council chairmen Muhammad Yaqub and Ali Jan Smalani, strongly rejected recent allegations and rumors from certain opposition chairmen regarding the recent budget session.
The joint statement clarified that the budget meeting followed all council laws, regulations, and parliamentary procedures, with full quorum present, including five women members. All 20 council members were informed of the date, time, and agenda in advance.
Baloch emphasized that claims of illegal approval or lack of quorum are baseless and politically motivated, aimed at tarnishing the council’s democratic and transparent processes. The leaders reiterated that the approved budget reflects collective consultation and prioritizes public welfare.
They appealed to opposition members to set aside allegations and work collaboratively for Panjgur’s development, assuring that all council operations remain transparent and accountable under the law. Citizens were urged not to be influenced by negative propaganda and participate in collective growth initiatives.
