Hyderabad, December 29, 2025: A viral video showing the open sale of ice (methamphetamine) in Nasim Nagar and Qasimabad has raised serious concerns over alleged police collusion in the city. Social media footage reveals drug dealers operating publicly despite law enforcement oversight, prompting citizen outrage.
Reports indicate that criminal networks sell ice, heroin, hashish, Z-21, and smuggled cigarettes, alongside illegal arms and explosives. Locals claim these operations are protected by influential figures, undermining the rule of law. The SSP Hyderabad has yet to take visible or decisive action to curb the activity, raising questions about law enforcement accountability.
Residents called on the IG Sindh and provincial government to take immediate notice, ensuring strict, transparent action against those involved. Community leaders emphasized that dismantling these networks is crucial to prevent youth exposure to substance abuse and maintain public safety in the affected neighborhoods. Swift action was deemed necessary to restore confidence in law enforcement
