Quetta, January 5, 2026:
Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti has directed the phased implementation of the Sui Master Development Plan, emphasizing transparency, superior quality, and timely completion of all development projects.
Chairing a high-level meeting in Quetta, the chief minister reviewed proposals aimed at comprehensive urban development, infrastructure improvement, and sustainable planning for Sui town. The meeting was attended by Chief Secretary Balochistan Shakeel Qadir Khan, Managing Director Pakistan Petroleum Limited Sikandar Memon, MNAs, district administration, and municipal officials.
The plan includes internal road development, urban beautification, street lighting, an efficient drainage system, clean drinking water supply, a sports ground, and construction of a modern bus terminal. CM Bugti stated that the initiative aims to uplift the standard of living of local residents and transform Sui into a planned and sustainable city.
He directed that public needs and local realities must remain central to planning, adding that Sui’s development would strengthen the local economy and generate employment opportunities. PPL will provide its allocated resources in line with agreements.
