Independent Report
Quetta, January 5, 2026:
Quetta Police have dismissed circulating social media claims and a viral video against Shalkot Police Station SHO Khair Muhammad as false, misleading, and baseless.
According to police officials, the allegations have no factual grounding. Investigations revealed that individuals involved in the incident were engaged in fraudulent activities against a citizen from Lakki Marwat and later issued threats to conceal their crimes.
Police stated that a case has already been registered against the suspect’s brother under relevant laws. Authorities accused the suspects of deliberately maligning the police to evade accountability.
Quetta Police emphasized that impartial investigations are ongoing and further legal action will follow. Citizens were urged not to trust unverified content on social media and to report grievances through official police channels.
