Lahore: Pakistan Railways continues to face a severe shortage of passenger coaches, causing frequent delays and inconvenience for travelers. Official sources claim over 400 coaches are short nationwide, forcing the department to operate trains using unfit and overdue coaches, raising serious safety concerns. Railways officials, however, deny any shortage and say additional coaches will be added to the system by the end of the month.
