Karachi: CM Murad Ali Shah approved PKR 15.5 billion grant-in-aid for NICVD, addressing financial gaps and authorizing appointments for COO and CFO. NICVD performed over 9,900 primary angioplasties in 2024, and new pediatric units and the Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases will expand capacity to 1,200 beds.
