Chairman NAB emphasized the need for coordinated national and international efforts to combat corruption, noting that the challenge transcends borders and affects public trust.
He briefed the delegation on NAB’s structural reforms, including digital transformation, AI-assisted investigations, blockchain analysis, and digital forensics, highlighting record recoveries of Rs6.213 trillion in 2025, bringing total recoveries over the last three years to Rs11.3 trillion.
Chairman NAB also highlighted citizen-centric initiatives such as Facilitation Cells at regional offices, Accountability and Business Facilitation Centres, the Witness Protection and Support System, and Khuli Katcheries. The bureau provided relief to 115,587 victims of fraudulent housing and investment schemes during the year and introduced profit-bearing accounts for recovered funds to maximize claimants’ financial benefit.
