Quetta:
Balochistan’s Finance Minister Mir Shoaib Nosherwani on Friday strongly condemned recent terrorist attacks in different parts of the province, describing violence and intimidation as destructive acts that further destabilize an already fragile region.
In a statement, Nosherwani said Balochistan had historically been a land of peace, security and brotherhood, adding that attempts to spread fear through violence only deepen public suffering. He paid tribute to security forces personnel who were killed in the attacks, saying their sacrifices in defense of the country and its people would never be forgotten.
“The blood of our martyrs will not go in vain,” the minister said, adding that their courage continued to inspire national resolve against terrorism.
Nosherwani also urged citizens to support government efforts, saying terrorism could only be defeated through collective action by the state and the public.
He further expressed condolences over the killing of Shahid Gul Malazai, chairman of the Malazai National Alliance, who was among those killed in the latest incident. The minister said such sacrifices symbolized resilience and unity, emphasizing that determination and solidarity remained Balochistan’s strongest tools in restoring lasting peace.
