Islamabad, February 1, 2026: National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq strongly condemned recent terror attacks targeting security forces and civilians in Balochistan, expressing deep sorrow over the loss of 15 security personnel and 18 innocent citizens. He extended heartfelt condolences to the families of the martyrs and prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured.
Speaker Sadiq praised the professional skills of security forces for eliminating 163 terrorists during a two-day operation, describing it as a major achievement in Pakistan’s fight against terrorism. He emphasized that terrorism has no religion and that extremists harming civilians and law enforcement will face no mercy.
Reiterating national unity, Sadiq stated that operations against anti-peace elements will continue until complete eradication of terrorism, and the sacrifices of martyrs will never go in vain. He called on the nation to remain united against terrorism and support security forces in maintaining peace.
