Chhatar: On Kashmir Solidarity Day, Nasirabad witnessed a large rally organized by the district administration to show support for the people of Indian-administered Kashmir. Led by Deputy Commissioner Captain (R) Zulfiqar Ali Karar, the event drew numerous officials, political leaders, students, and citizens.
Participants carried banners and placards condemning India’s human rights violations in Kashmir. Speakers emphasized that Kashmiris have endured decades of oppression and called on the international community, particularly the United Nations, to take immediate action to ensure Kashmiri self-determination in line with global resolutions. The rally also highlighted strict security measures taken by local police to ensure a safe and peaceful demonstration.
